Created by Dr Van Scott and Dr Yu, Neostrata is a product which uses alpha hydroxy acids to fight your acne and otherwise fight your skin problems. It can be found across the world, and they have various lines of products including our main product of focus, the acne regimen kit. They claim that it will give you a convenient 4 piece way to control your acne, get rid of it, and prevent future outbreaks.
Pros
They only charge $32 for said 4 piece kit, and they provide a cheaper “try me collection” to get you started and give you an idea of the results you could potentially get. It has proven alpha hydroxy acids as well as salicylic acid and various other ingredients your skin may well need.
Cons
Frankly, they only use small amounts of their active ingredients, and with inactive ingredients and preservatives such as ammonium chloride and propylene glycol, you really need other ingredients that would counteract the effects and repair your skin or save it rather than hurting it more.
Summary
We would recommend staying away from Neostrata at this point. It does not provide you with the results you are looking for, and it could well hurt your skin. In fact, we’re relatively sure that with the small amounts of the active ingredients, it will not produce results, and with all the preservatives and fillers, it will harm your skin in general.
